Supporting Our Mission and Goals

In 1904, Julie F. Nevins had the vision, determination and funds to construct the Henry C. Nevins Home for the Aged. Named after her husband, this home was mission driven from the start and provided care to the poor and elderly. This single philanthropic gesture gave rise to the present day, Nevins Family of Services. As a non-profit organization we rely heavily on the generosity of community organizations, businesses, friends and family members. We work together to define improvements that will enrich the lives of our community. In the spirit of Julie F. Nevins we have an obligation to continue what she started and stay true to the Nevins Family of Services mission.

Ways of Giving

There are many ways of giving that will fit your goals and interests while supporting Nevins Family of Services.

Annual Fund - the most common and easiest way to give. Outright gift of cash or check.

Memorial Gift - a gift made in honor of or in memory of a loved one. If the gift is over $1000 the honoree's name will be added to our lobby Memorial Tree.

Sponsorship - or participation in special events

Fashion Show with proceeds going to Alzheimer's Services

Endowment Gift - sometimes known as a legacy gift. The principal is left alone and the interest is used for support in perpetuity.

In-Kind Gift - gifts that can support our mission and enrich our clients lives.

Volunteering- the gift of time is priceless.
